Projekt: Endwell - a 1930’s renovation

This project came to us through a referral following the successful completion of our first Jersey based property, 'Sundown'.

Our scope of work was extensive, covering every aspect of the home to bring it up to modern standards while preserving its classic charm.

The project scope included:

Heating & Domestic Hot Water: We upgraded the entire heating system and domestic hot water supply to ensure efficient and reliable performance throughout the home.

Lighting and Power: A complete overhaul of the electrical system was undertaken, including new lighting fixtures and power outlets to enhance functionality and aesthetics.

Flooring: We installed new flooring throughout the house, featuring elegant timber Chevron Parquet and tiled flooring on the ground floor, and plush carpet flooring in the bedrooms. Additionally, we stripped and refinished the existing oak stairs to match the new timber flooring, creating a cohesive look.

Partitioning & Door Openings: To improve the flow and movement within the home, we constructed new stud partitioning and door openings, optimizing the layout for modern living.

Kitchen & Utility: A brand-new, fully fitted kitchen and utility room were installed, complete with updated power, plumbing, and lighting to meet the needs of a contemporary household.

Bathrooms: We installed two new bathroom suites, providing the home with modern, stylish, and functional spaces for daily use.

Interior Decorations: The entire interior of the house received a fresh coat of paint, including woodwork, walls, and ceilings, to create a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Windows & Doors: New double-glazed flush casement windows and doors were supplied and installed, enhancing the home's energy efficiency and curb appeal.

Exterior Decorations: The exterior of the house was also given a facelift with new paint, ensuring it looks as good on the outside as it does on the inside.

Roof & Guttering: We cleaned the roof tiles, soffits, fascias, and guttering, ensuring they are in top condition and free from debris.

Driveway: The driveway was repaired and given a high-pressure washer clean, restoring it to its former glory and providing a welcoming entrance to the home.

This renovation project was a comprehensive transformation, bringing a 1930’s detached home into the modern era while maintaining its original charm. From heating and electrical upgrades to new flooring and interior decorations, every detail was meticulously planned and executed. The result is a beautifully renovated home that meets the needs of its occupants and stands as a testament to our commitment to quality and excellence in home renovation.
